We specialize in landscape design, creating beautiful and functional spaces to enhance the enjoyment of your property. Our approach varies based on project size and goals, with simple designs recommended for small projects and more detailed plans for larger ones. Environmental factors such as covenants, riparian setbacks and municipal requirements are always considered before deciding the appropriate placement for pools, structures and trees. We also do our best to ensure patios are functional and spacious. Our end goal is to provide you with cost-estimated plans to build your dream outdoor space within your budget.
Without seeing the property and knowing the desired result it is impossible to know what a landscape design will cost. A typical city lot without too many challenges or elevations can run between $1,200 to $2,000 for a full landscape design. Full landscape plans generally book out a few weeks in advance, depending on the season. Once your project is on the design schedule, the process typically takes one to two months.

LAndscape Design Process
Initial Consultation
To start the process of creating a landscape design, we schedule a meeting with you, the client, to discuss your wishes, preferences, and budget. Then, we do a walkthrough of your property to gather information about its unique features and potential. By taking into account your specific needs and the characteristics of your outdoor space, we can create a personalized plan that maximizes functionality and beauty.
Concept Design
Based on the information we gather during our initial consultation, we create a concept drawing that outlines the basic layout of your property. During this stage, we collaborate with you to ensure that the design fits your needs style and budget. Once the concept design drawing is reviewed and approved, we move on to specifying landscape products and planting design. Optionally, you can also have the landscape drawing done in 3D to help you visualize the end result.
Product Selection
Each property will have a unique microclimate and require different approaches to planting. With direction from you on colour palette and special plant selection, we aim to create planting areas that are easy to maintain, water-conscious, climate-appropriate, and seasonally conscious. We use our own personal knowledge as well as local nurseries and plant availability to guide our selections. Plant possibilities and combinations are endless!
Construction Details
The final step in our landscape design process is to provide construction details specific to your project. By following the construction standards set out by the Canadian Landscape Standards, local contractors can ensure your investment is built with quality and lasts.
