As someone who grew up in the Cariboo, Haida Gwaii, and the Okanagan, I’ve always felt a strong connection to the outdoors. After starting my landscape design career in 2006 while studying for a horticulture + design diploma, I’ve been fortunate to work alongside numerous exceptional landscape construction companies and builders, refining my skills with a hands-on approach. I draw inspiration from the unique beauty of each Okanagan season, and my goal is to create outdoor spaces that encourage people to gather and enjoy their surroundings. My personal aesthetic is a blend of modern clean lines and a natural, airy plant palette that is both timeless and contemporary, and well-suited to our climate. Ultimately, I strive to design spaces that bring happiness and encourage people to spend time outdoors.
In my spare time, I enjoy camping (or glamping, let’s be real here) and exploring new places with my family. When I’m not out adventuring, I love to relax in my backyard, which also doubles as my testing grounds. I enjoy finding low-maintenance ways to make my outdoor space look amazing, with little effort so I have my spare time free to simply enjoy it.
